Zaina Sa'ed

A designer and artist, with 20 years of experience, a BA degree in Graphic design from Jordan, and later studied Jewelry design in Italy. For the first half of her career, she has worked in corporate positions, from design to client servicing, marketing and project management. Founder of Zaina Sa’ed Design, a multidisciplinary brand that focuses on bringing Arabic calligraphy to light. Where each piece has been designed with very high intentions to bring meaning, harmony and balance. Through research, personal development and high intuition, Zaina has created her own unique style of Arabic Calligraphy that breaks all the conventional guidelines and rules, taking it to a completely distinct aesthetic level.

Collaborating with the best artisans in Jordan & Italy. She participated in different exhibitions in Jordan and UAE with her jewelry, and she also was part of Dubai Design Week 2019 for the collaboration design of a reclaimed wood table. Her experience ranges from jewellery, to art, design and facilitating what she calls Creative Recovery, where she  helps people design their own paths and “unblock” their creativity and move towards a path of self-fulfillment and abundance. She does creative circles and one-on-one sessions.

In 2021 she was chosen to work as a consultant for USAID - Pragma program: Economic Recovery & Livelihoods Program (ERLP) in Yemen to help 15 coastal women create their own homebased businesses in making accessories and handicrafts from seashells and other materials, where she worked on methodology and conceptual thinking, opening them up to inner creativity, bringing a holistic understanding to design and creating their own brands, from the first steps of design thinking, developing a collection to final presentation.
